Day-by-day tour program
Day 1 Arrive to Tashkent, dinner
Day 2 Tashkent – Nukus – Muynak - Nukus, breakfast, dinner
You'll have breakfast at the hotel in the morning and then head to Tashkent airport to fly to Nukus. When you arrive in Nukus, a driver will meet you and take you to the Savitsky Museum. This museum is unique because it has lots of paintings by Russian artists. People sometimes call it the "Louvre in the Steppe" because it's like a big, famous museum in the desert. It has about 90,000 things to see!
After the museum, you'll go to Muynak to see the "ship graveyard," where old ships sit in the desert. It's an excellent place for pictures. Then, you'll return to Nukus, check into your hotel, and have dinner.
Day 3 Nukus – Ayaz Kala – Toprak Kala - Khiva, breakfast, lunch, dinner
You will start with breakfast, then say goodbye to your hotel. Next, we're off to the fantastic city of Khiva! We'll stop at an excellent yurt camp for a tasty lunch with local foods. After eating, you'll get to ride a camel in the desert! We'll also check out old ruins called Toprak-Kala and Ayaz-Kala. Then, it's straight to Khiva. You'll get comfy in your new hotel and enjoy dinner with unique Khorezm dishes at a nearby restaurant.
Day 4 Khiva, breakfast, dinner with folklore show
Enjoy breakfast; then, we'll explore Ichan-Kala, a special place protected by UNESCO. It's like a giant outdoor museum in Khiva with many cool old buildings. We'll see the Kalta Minaret, a massive tower, and the Kunya Ark, where you can look out and see the whole city. We'll also visit the Juma Mosque with 212 elegant pillars and other fantastic places like the Palvan-Mahmud complex, the Shergazi-khan madrasah, and the Islam-Khoja minaret. We'll walk around the big walls of Ichan-Kala too. They're super long! After seeing all these neat spots, we'll have a fun dinner with music and dancing at a restaurant.
Day 5 Khiva - Bukhara, breakfast, dinner
After breakfast at the hotel, we'll go to Bukhara. The trip takes us through the immense sandy Kyzylkum Desert. We'll stop to see the big Amudarya River and snap photos of desert plants and animals. Once we get to Bukhara, you'll check into your hotel to relax. Later, we'll wander through Bukhara's old, twisty streets. We'll eat dinner at a tea house by a pond near big old trees at Lyabi-Khauz Square. It's a beautiful end to the day!
Day 6 Bukhara, breakfast, dinner with master class
After breakfast at the hotel, let's take a fun walk around Bukhara. We'll see incredible places like the Samanids and Chashma-Ayub mausoleums, the Bolo-Khauz mosque with a pretty pond, the giant Ark fortress, and the Poi-Kalon minaret. We'll also check out shops under massive domes, an old synagogue, and the Lyabi-Hauz spot with a statue of Khoja Nasreddin. It's said to be lucky! We'll have dinner with a friendly family to finish our Bukhara tour. They'll show us how to make Bukhara pilaf with rice, meat, onions, carrots, and special oil. It's going to be tasty!
Day 7 Bukhara - Samarkand, breakfast, dinner
First, we'll have breakfast at the hotel, then head to Samarkand. This city is known worldwide and protected by UNESCO for its fantastic culture. Once we get there, we'll check into a hotel to relax. Samarkand has some awe-inspiring places that everyone loves to visit. Today, we'll see Registan Square, famous for its three big schools, and the Gur-Emir mausoleum, where a renowned padishah and his family are buried. We'll also visit some other beautiful spots. We'll have dinner at "Karimbek" restaurant to end the day, enjoying tasty kebabs. It's a great way to wrap up our day in Samarkand!
Day 8 Samarkand excursion, by train to Tashkent, breakfast, dinner
After breakfast, we'll pick you up from the hotel, bags and all, to see more of Samarkand! We're visiting the enormous Bibi-Khanum Mosque, walking around Siab Bazaar, seeing the Shahi-Zinda complex, and checking out the Khazret-Khyzr Mosque. Then, we'll peek into the Khoja Daniyar's mausoleum, explore the Afrasiab Museum, and see Ulugbek's Observatory. Later, we hop on the Afrasiab train at 5 PM and return to Tashkent, arriving by 7 PM. We'll have a tasty dinner at Al-Aziz restaurant, and then it's off to the hotel to chill out.
Day 9 Tashkent excursion, breakfast, dinner
After breakfast, we start our Tashkent tour at the Hasti-Imam complex. Here, we will see a very old Koran, made from 353 parchment sheets, at the Muyi Muborak Madrasah. Next, we will stroll through Chorsu bazaar, peer into Kukeldash madrasah, ride the metro, and walk from Mustakillik Square to the Opera House. We'll also see Ramanov Palace, visit the Museum of Applied Arts, and walk around Amir Temur Square and Sayilgoh Street, where artists sell their art for fun prices. We will end with a goodbye dinner by the river at the Sharshara (waterfall) restaurant.
Day 10 Transfer to airport, breakfast
After breakfast, meet your driver at the hotel lobby. He will take you to Islam Karimov Airport to end your 10-day Uzbekistan Private tour.
