19 March: Arrival in Tashkent
20 March: Tashkent excursion, by train to Samarkand, breakfast
Your day begins with breakfast. Then, you pack up from the hotel. At 9 AM, a local guide will begin your Tashkent tour. We start at Hasti Imam Square, visit the Chorsu Bazaar, and see the Kukeldash Mosque. Next, we take the metro to Mustakilik Square. We stop at two stations: Cosmonauts and Alisher Navoi.
You'll walk around Mustakilik Square and see lovely fountains. We will visit the Monument of Courage, the Opera House, Amir Temur Square, and the crafts museum. The tour in Tashkent ends with a ride to the station. There, you catch the 6:45 PM train to Samarkand.
You reach Samarkand at 9 PM. A driver will meet you and take you to your hotel. There, you check in and rest.
21 March: Kupkari Game, Samarkand excursion, breakfast
Have breakfast at the hotel. Then, go with our top guide to a nearby village in Samarkand. There, you'll see the famous game of "Kupkari." It's a vital part of the Navruz fest, drawing people from all over. After the game, head back to Samarkand. Visit Registan Square, the big Gur-Emir tomb, and the pretty Bibi-Khanum Mosque. You can also walk through the streets of Samarkand, which are full of fair decor, music, and celebrations.
22 March: Samarkand excursion, by train to Bukhara, breakfast
Your day starts with breakfast. Then, you grab your bags and leave the hotel. Next, our guide takes you to explore Samarkand. Today, you'll visit the lively Siab Market and the ancient Shahi-Zinda tombs. You will also explore the Gumbaz Synagogue and the Hazrat-Khizr Mosque. Don't miss St. Daniel's Mausoleum, a place for prayer. You'll also tour the Afrasiab Museum and the large Ulugbek Observatory.
After touring Samarkand, you head to the train station. You catch the Afrosiab train to Bukhara at 9:08 PM. Our driver will meet you in Bukhara at 10:39 PM. He drives us to the hotel. There, you can check in and unwind.
23 March: Bukhara excursion, breakfast
Meet our guide at 9 AM for a fun tour of Bukhara. We'll start with the city's famous UNESCO sites. You'll see the old Samanid Mausoleums and Chashma Ayub, known for its link to St. Job. Next, check out the Bolo-Hauz Mosque and the Ark Fortress. Make sure to learn about the Zindan prison's past.
You'll also visit the Poi-Kalon area and the lively trade domes: Toki-Zargaron, Toki-Tilpak Furushon, Toki-Saraffon, and Tim Abdullah-khan. The tour includes the Ulugbek and Abdulaziz-khan schools, the Magoki-Attari Mosque, and a Synagogue. A walk through the Lyabi Hauz area shows you the Kukeldash, Khanaka, and Nadir-Divan-Begi schools. Last, you'll see the unique Chor-Minor Mosque, a top spot in Bukhara.
24 March: Bukhara – Khiva, through Kyzyl-Kum desert, breakfast
Have breakfast, then leave your hotel. Drive to Khiva. You will cross the Kyzyl-Kum desert. We will pause to look at the big Amudarya River on the way. You'll get to Khiva by late afternoon. Check into a lovely guest house in the Ichan-Kala fortress. From 6:00 to 7:00 PM, go for a walk in Ichan-Kala. A guide will walk with you. They will show you the fortress's lovely buildings, now bright with colourful lights.
25 March: Khiva excursion, breakfast
After breakfast at 9 AM, a local guide will take you on a walk around Khiva. First, you'll see Kalta-Minor, an unfinished tall tower known as a symbol of the city. Then, you visit Muhammad Amin-khan, a school. After that, you explore Kunya-Ark, a large fort. This fort has two mosques for different weather, a harem, and an old area called Ak-Sheikh-Bobo.
But there's more to see in Khiva. You'll visit several unique places. These include the Muhammad Niyaz Divanbegi school, the old tomb of Said Allauddin, and the Kozi-Kalon school. You'll admire the Muhammad Rahim Khan II school and the Juma Mosque, famous for its 218 wooden pillars. Also, you'll see the Yunus-khan Mosque and the blue-domed tomb of Pakhlavan-Mahmud. You'll enjoy the Shergazy-Khan school, a high 57-meter tower, and the Islam-Khoja school. Don't miss the peaceful Ak Mosque, the ancient Anush-khan baths, the Ala-Kuli-khan school, the beautiful Tash-khauli palace, and the famous walls of the Ichan-Kala fort.
26 March: Khiva, Urgench, Tashkent, Beldersay Gorge, breakfast
Have breakfast at the hotel, then get ready to leave with your bags. We will set up a ride to Urgench airport for your 9 AM flight to Tashkent. When you land at 11 AM, our guide and driver will meet you. They will take you to Beldersay Gorge in the pretty Ugam-Chatkal Park. The trip there is excellent, with views of the blue Chirchik River.
Once in Beldersay, get ready to enjoy the outdoors. You'll have time to go up Kumbel Peak by ropeway. At the top, you'll see amazing views of the mountains and breathe in the clean air. Then, you'll go to the Dostlik camp, set in the wild, to stay the night.
27 March: Dostlik, Charvak Lake, Bochka, Tashkent, breakfast
Your day starts with breakfast. Then, pack up from the camp. Meet our guide and head to Charvak Lake. You can try boat rides there, but they cost extra. In the afternoon, we'll go back to Tashkent. We'll stop for lunch at a place called Bochka. This spot is famous in Uzbekistan. It serves many local foods from fish. It's also a place where many people like to hang out. Don't miss the Mastava soup. It's a local favourite, like a soup version of pilaf. People often come here after work to eat, relax, and meet friends. We'll get to Tashkent late. Then, we'll take you to your hotel to rest.
28 March: Tashkent - Airport, breakfast
Have breakfast, then leave the hotel with your bags. Our driver will meet you and take you to the airport.
